Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrussPoint Financial website (trusspointfinancial.com) and any services provided by TrussPoint Financial ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

TrussPoint Financial provides financial planning services to individuals and families in Texas. Our services may include:

Michelle Schee, CFP®, is licensed to provide financial planning services in Texas. Services are provided in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations.

Client Relationship and Engagement

Our advisory relationship begins when you execute a formal engagement agreement. The specific terms of our engagement, including scope of services, fees, and responsibilities, will be outlined in your individual advisory agreement.

Information provided on our website is for general educational purposes and does not constitute personalized financial advice. A formal advisory relationship must be established before we can provide recommendations specific to your situation.

Either party may terminate the advisory relationship at any time in accordance with the terms specified in the engagement agreement.

Fees and Payment

Our fee structure will be clearly disclosed in your engagement agreement prior to the commencement of services. Fees may be based on:

  • Assets under management (AUM)
  • Hourly rates for specific services
  • Fixed fees for financial planning projects
  • Retainer arrangements

Payment terms, billing frequency, and accepted payment methods will be specified in your engagement agreement.

We may receive compensation from third parties (such as insurance companies) for products you purchase. All such compensation will be fully disclosed to you in accordance with our fiduciary duty.

Fiduciary Duty

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Michelle Schee adheres to the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct, which requires her to act as a fiduciary when providing financial advice.

This means we are obligated to act in your best interest, provide advice that is in your best interest, and disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect our recommendations.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TrussPoint Financial and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.
